1.Allnatt Diamond:The Allnatt Diamond(101.29 carats)a fancy vivid yellow diamond is named after Major Alfred Ernest Allnatt, one of its owners who purchased it in 1950's.The Allnatt was resold at auction in May 1996 by Christie's in Geneva.The origin of Allnatt Diamond is still unknown and currently it is believed to be owned by SIBA corporation.
2.Agra Diamond:Named after the land of Taj mahal,Agra diamond is the most expensive pink diamond in the world. It is believed that this diamond was owned by Rajah of Gwalior.In 1526 the Agra diamond was taken into the possession of Babur, the first Mogul Emperor, after he defeated the Rajah of Gwalior in battle.The diamond was smuggled to Britain by British officers in 1857 and Duke of Brunswick purchased this diamond for a whopping 348,600 francs.After him the persons who possessed this diamond were Bram Hertz followed by Edwin Streeter, and followed by Louis Winans till 1927.It came under the auction by Christi's in 1990.

7.The Centenary Diamond:This diamond of 599 carats was discovered in 1986 in De Beers Premier mine, the mine which holds the credit of famous diamonds such as Cullinan, the Niarchos, the Taylor-Burton, and the Premier Rose. Currently weighing 273.85 carats ,The Centenary is the largest modern-cut diamond in the world.

8.The Cullinan Diamond:The Cullinan Diamond is the largest rough gem-quality diamond
ever found, at 3,106.75 carats (621.35 g or 1.3698 pounds).It discovered found by Frederick Wells, surface manager of the Premier Diamond Mining Company in Cullinan, Gauteng, South Africa, on January 25, 1905. The stone was named after Sir Thomas Cullinan, the owner of the diamond mine.Currently it is a part of the British crown jewels, as it forms a part of the Imperial State Crown.


9.The Darya-ye Noor Diamond:It is one of the largest diamonds in the world, weighing 182 carats (36.4 g). Its colour, pale pink, is one of the rarest to be found in diamonds. The Darya-ye Noor presently forms part of the Iranian crown jewels. It is considered one of the oldest diamonds known to man.

16.The Eureka Diamond:It was the first diamond discovered in South Afica.This diamond has an interesting story about its origin.It was accidentally discovered by the children of a dutch origin farmer ,Daniel Johannes Jacobus Jacobs.It was a mere a play material for children until Schalk van Niekerk, a neighbor noticed the stone whilst visiting the Jacobs' farmhouse.It remained in a private collection until, in 1967, exactly 100 years after its discovery, De Beers purchased the Eureka, gifting it to the people of South Africa.The Eureka was placed on permanent loan by the South African government at the Mine Museum, Kimberley - a fitting venue to display the gemstone that established South Africa as one of the world's richest resources of diamonds.

The diamond was named the Golden Jubilee, and was received by the King’s daughter, Princess Matia Chari Sirindhom, on his behalf in 2000. The diamond is now on display in the Royal Museum at Pimammek Golden Temple Throne Hall in Bangkok.
